Kirkcudbright is a very nice town. Worth a visit: peaceful, green, clean and probably the friendliest people I have come across. The house really is perfect - one of the best we have stayed at. Host is friendly and proactive in communication. Getting there, getting in and getting comfortable is all so easy. I cannot think of anything to find fault with- everything you need is here and how you want it. Lovely welcome pack too. Lots of space in the house and dog friendly (lots of good walking areas behind the house).

The Old School House is stunning Air BnB , super clean, very well appointed and Elizabeth is an excellent host. Would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Newton Stewart.

Beautiful house with so much character. The location was so peaceful yet close to Dumfries where we were easily able to get take-out for dinner. We only stayed one night as a stopover on our way home but we found the house to be comfortable and well-equipped. The milk and water in the fridge plus all the seasonings/spices in the kitchen were such a nice surprise that we don't often find in AirBnBs, as were the very nice bathroom amenities. The only thing I'd mention - our daughter had us up at 5:30 am because there are only curtains, no blinds/shutters, in the bedrooms and, although the curtains are thick, it was still very bright in the bedrooms as soon as the sun started rising, which is very early at this time of year. Just keep this in mind if you're coming with young kids who are light sleepers!

Me and my husband stayed here for our 4th wedding anniversary with our 14 month old daughter and our dog. Cleugh Cottage's beautiful charm made it one we will remember. From checking in and finding a bottle of Prosecco await us to spending the evenings in the hot tub looking over the river it was just so special! Martyn was a great host and has clearly put a lot of love into this property. We hope to return again.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming farmhouse in the Lake District. The place was immaculately tidy, with a very well-catered kitchen that had everything we needed—perfect for cooking up a proper Easter Sunday roast, which we were lucky enough to enjoy outside in the garden thanks to some glorious spring sunshine. The wood burner made the evenings extra cosy, and the peaceful, beautiful surroundings made for a truly relaxing break. Diana was excellent—friendly, helpful, and very responsive. highly recommended!

We had a lovely few days at the accommodation. It was perfect for the 6 of us. It was within an easy driving distance for lots of nice places around the Lake District including Keswick, Rydal Caves and Muncaster Castle. After enjoying our activities during the day it was great to come back to the house, which was in such a quiet and peaceful place. We had a lovely meal at The Royal Yew in Dean, we highly recommend it. Overall a lovely place for a break.

Fabulous apartment just as described. Clean, comfortable with an excellent position for all amenities. Parking space is a bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to repeat.

Well located flat in central Keswick - on street parking but we had no trouble on Easter weekend finding spaces. Well stocked with everything - great to have milk/tea/ coffee bags :) Big shower but narrow to get past bath to get to it ( see photos so not unexpected). Looked recently renovated so pristine clean. No window in bathroom so faint damp smell sadly but lots of air fresheners. There was a little back garden which would have been lovely to use if a little warmer. All in all great stay for 5 nights.

Church Street was a lovely place to stay, good layout, comfy furniture, plenty of room and all very clean. Location was good for us, 10 mins walk into the centre of Keswick or the lake. A great base for exploring this beautiful part of the country.

Sue's apartment is perfect for a long weekend - it's spacious, has everything you might need, and is perfectly located in the town. Plus it has private parking, which is a rarity in Keswick.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung im Herzen von Maybole. Wohnung groß und gut eingerichtet. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit Vermieter! Parkplatz in der Nähe, Takeaway-Restaurants direkt nebenan…gute Lage.

Luke & AnnaMarie’s place is perfect for exploring Moffat and the surrounding area. The spa facilities were amazing. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Moffat and have already passed the details on to my friends looking to visit the area. Luke & AnnaMarie are prefect hosts, super attentive and responsive. We were blown away with the beauty and character of this gorgeous home!! It’s totally unique and an amazing space to spend time with everyone. The indoor and outdoor space was wonderful, we wished it had been summer weather to enjoy the outside area! Beautifully spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortable home. Met the needs of our family attending a wedding. Disappointing that a cot and highchair couldn't be provided although we found some in store room in house! Would have expected more classy toiletries than Radox. Overall we had a great time in Ayr.

My group and I had a lovely stay at Moffat House. Nick was extremely helpful and very quick to respond, he gave us an excellent recommendation for a private chef. The house was immaculate and well kitted out for the weekend. Couldn’t recommend this place enough and would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!
