Booked this for a birthday trip for my partner. We brough 13 of our friends with us and had the best time. All our friends were instantly impressed with how beautiful the house was when we pulled up for the first time. Having 15 adults in a house can be hard, but we all felt totally at home and like we all had enough space. The house is so well stocked, I brought extra kitchen things with me as I'm so used to going to rentals where the kitchen has a broken spatula, three forks, and a salt shaker. However, the kitchen had so many gadgets and utensils I didn't need to bring anything at all. Making meals for 15 people was easy and fun. The lighting in the house is beautiful and the area was so fun to explore. Truly so close to the local grocery store, the red arrow roadhouse and town line beach. Which were all big parts of our weekend plan. Had so much fun, this feels like a real home and there is so much care and heart in it's decoration and maintenance. Would stay again x100!!

Our group had an absolutely amazing stay! Everyone raved about how beautiful the property was—from the peaceful setting to the gorgeous interior. The hot tub was a favorite spot for unwinding, and the well-stocked, spacious kitchen made it easy (and fun!) to cook all our meals in. We also loved having a grill to use! The hosts were super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this home to any large group looking for a relaxing, well-equipped getaway with all the comforts of home.

My brother's bachelor party was held at this property. It was an awesome week, the house was perfect. It is a truly beautiful location and property.

This is our second stay here - we really enjoy the clean, modern, open spaces and peaceful surroundings. Plenty of room for our family of five to spread out, but also to come together in the kitchen or living room for games around a fire. Looking forward to another stay in the future!

We had a great time visiting with our college kids over Easter break. The location was incredible! It felt like we had all of Lake Michigan to ourselves on the private beach. We would absolutely stay there again!

We had a beautiful, peaceful stay at Karissa’s cabin. Lots of natural lighting, spacious unit, and lovely amenities like WiFi, jacuzzi, kitchen appliances, and washer/dryer. There are a lot of nearby stores for any last minute groceries or shopping. The views were absolutely stunning. I would recommend staying here and would absolutely come back again but in the warmer season to explore that trails here! Thank you for having us at your cabin! We had such a nice, relaxing stay.

We had a e couples weekend for my birthday and we had everything we needed as far as amenities for adults. I would recommend this place to anyone including people with kids.

This was a hidden gem. We enjoyed the location away from heavy Chicago traffic, yet close to great restaurants and the lakeshore. The house was gorgeous. The renovation was beautiful and accommodations were very comfortable. We were also able to find parking directly in front of the unit each night without issue. We also discovered an amazing Caribbean restaurant nearby, 14 Parish Restaurant and Rhum Bar, that we will certainly visit again.

A great place to stay for a family to explore downtown Chicago. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions, and restaurants. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — we truly felt like we were at our own home. The host was responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

The place is was very nice and clean! Price is worth it and it’s also very relaxing. The hosts were very nice and welcoming too! Would stay here again if in the area!

My wife and I stayed here with 2 of our adult children and their partners, so 6 adults total. The condo was spacious, had a well supplied kitchen, more than enough towels and very comfortable beds and furniture. The location is fantastic- a 17 minute bus ride to Michigan Avenue and the lakefront. However, you can also walk just 2 blocks to many cafes and restaurants in Little Italy as well a large grocery store. We also took a 30 minute walk into the West Loop area which was very lively and fun. Easy walk to University of Illinois campus and Rush Medical School. The hosts were great and very flexible with check in and check out. We did not have a car, but there appeared to be ample street parking if we’d needed it. Will definitely stay here again!

I was there with 2 friends for a guys weekend and a Saturday Cubs game. The stadium was walkable and Terry was great. We had a small hiccup when checking in but was completely my fault. Terry was home and helped us get in. For what we needed it was perfect.

Joshua’s place was incredible! Everything matched the description on the listing. The area was very walkable with lots to do around the neighborhood. Joshua went out of his way to make my birthday staycation at his property an amazing experience! I would definitely book again.

Had a wonderful time staying in Chicago for the first time. Host Bev communicated via the Airbnb app and regular texting promptly within an hour or two. She gave a wonderful list of attractions, restaurants, and grocery stores near by. Loved the gated code accessible fenced in parking spot available during my stay. I was able to park and head out and explore the city via uber and not worry about having to driving through traffic and parking. Very clean everywhere, looked just as the photos on the app. Located 10-15 minutes from downtown Chicago I was able to visit the Field Museum, The Shedd Aquarium, and Sears Tower. The whole experience was enjoyable and relaxing. Would strongly recommend this location for anyone wanting to visit Chicago.

We met here with college friends and their families and had a wonderful time. There is a wide variety of books, games, and activities; we really didn’t need to bring our own! The hosts were very responsive and even drove out with trash bags when we messaged that we couldn’t find any. Highly recommend!

Bruce & Carol were excellent hosts anticipating needs while going above and beyond to make the stay special. The home has beautiful landscaping and gardens. Plenty of room for children to run and play. The breeze from the lake can be enjoyed throughout the home. The house has lake front views throughout the main rooms. The home is positioned ideally for guests with 3 separate living spaces and an open kitchen to the main gathering space that opens to the deck and grill. The walk to St. Joseph is less than a mile and we completed this enjoyable walk daily. Farmer market operates every Saturday during the summer with concerts on Sunday evenings all in walking distance of home. The private beach is beautiful and hosts shared paddle boards and beach toys to add to experience. We enjoyed sunset walks to the lighthouse pier. The internet is fast and reliable for those looking to work away from home with 2-3 possible office locations in home. We would return here again.

We had an excellent time here. Our whole dance team was able to stay comfortably and safely. We managed to fit 5 cars in the parking which was essential to us. It was all clean close to everything we came to Chicago for. The communication with the host was great and always prompt. We loved it here.
