We're a Dutch couple whose lodge is nestled in the mountains of Madarao in Japan. Our lodge provides capacity for a max of 20 guests divided over 5 units. Our cozy, comfortable space makes for a great base to explore the mountains around the region. During winter, we offer private ski/snowboarding lessons, and side and backcountry guiding. We cater to guests during all other seasons too and offer fine dining experiences during your stay. We aim to create the perfect vacation experience for you!

The operator Mickey speaks English and Chinese, and is learning Japanese. Built in 1924, this folkhouse in the traditional Echigo Chumon-zukuri has been beautifully restored using ceramics. On the first floor, you’ll find ceramic artworks such as an irori (sunken hearth), kamado (traditional stove), washbasin, and bath each crafted by Japan’s leading ceramic artists. This space also serves as a gallery-restaurant, where local dishes are served on handmade tableware. The second floor features a ceramic exhibition area. Please come enjoy a cozy countrside stay.

We have 8 tatami rooms and 2 bedrooms. The nearest ski lift is the Nagasaka gondola-link Double ( No.19). You can get to the lift on foot in 3 minutes. There are some restaurants around here. Also, you can go to the main street in Nozawa in 15 minutes. Our guest rooms are private accommodations, but the bathrooms and shower rooms are shared facilities. 【Access to the B&B】 It takes 20 minutes by the Nozawa liner bus from the Iiyama station. The nearest bus stop is the Nakao.

全7室のうちの1室です。1階の食堂横にあり、他の6室がトイレのみ設置だったのに対し、この部屋には、シャワールームも設置しています。他の部屋よりも少し広めになっているので、セミダブルサイズのベッドが2台でもゆとりが感じられ、、ゆったりと睡眠していただけます。テレビは、43インチでwifi接続によりユーチューブも閲覧でき、音楽やスポーツ・映画鑑賞をお楽しみただけると思います。朝食は、共用スペースでもあるダイニングで皆さんと一緒にお摂りいただきます。夕食は、温泉街に行くこともできます。また、当館のメニューにより、朝の段階でご予約いただければ、おつくりすることもできます。長期滞在されても、過ごせるようにスタッフ一同心よりおもてなしするように心がけています。 生ビール、ワインやジュースを販売しています。 朝食付きですが、コンチネンタルブレックファストとなっております。玉子料理は付きません。
