Iconic 17th Century Thatched Cottage

Enjoy the beautiful garden in the summer sunshine or hunker down next to the fire in the winter, Hoo Cottage has it all! It is one of the few thatched Cotswold Stone properties, tucked away in the idyllic village of Chipping Campden. We have done our best to bringing out the distinctive character of this historic property, while furnishing it in a luxurious rustic style. The history of the cottage is still up to debate. However, we have found evidence of it playing a role as the village bakery.

This pretty, cotswold stone cottage in the heart of Painswick has been newly renovated, with a modern county feel. With feature fireplaces and a wood burner It is the perfect base for exploring the Cotswolds and is only a 20 minute drive to Cheltenham. The cottage is only a couple of minutes walk from the local pub and the other restaurants in the village, including the Painswick Hotel, which serves afternoon tea, cocktails and offers a beautiful restaurant. Local shop is a a few meters away.

Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester are a short drive away. An idyllic quiet get away.

Ideally located for travel to Stroud, Cheltenham, Cirencester and Gloucester all within a 20 min drive.

The Cottage is now open again, following a major extension project. A stylish spacious Cotswold stone cottage with open plan kitchen dining living space, wood burning stove and 3 bedrooms. Main bedroom has French doors overlooking Cotswold countryside and enjoys the morning sun. The bedroom opens onto a spacious luxury en-suite bathroom with large shower and separate bath. There are two further bedrooms, each with a double bed, one of which has an en suite shower room.

Wayside is a traditional wool workers cottage centrally located in the Cotswold village of Painswick. This 17c cottage has retained in 2021 and retaining a host of original features. A home from home in an utterly charming setting. Fully equipped kitchen, bright dining area, lounge with wood burner, smart TV, fast WiFi, 3 bedrooms, fluffy soft towels, crisp linen. We offer a cosy and comfortable self contained shepherds hut with a double bed, shower room and kitchen with a wood burning stove. The hut sits within a pretty grassland meadow, with unrivalled views across the Painswick Valley.
