Walk freely around the 75 acre award-wining medieval hunting lodge estate called Letheringham Lodge or swim in its wild swimming pond just around the corner from your cottage! A wonderfully restyled 2 double bedroomed cottage is only a short drive to Shingle St, Aldeburgh and Southwold.

The annexe is an open plan, 1st floor, ‘loft’ space, separate to the main house and set in 9 acres of meadows. A quiet place to relax and use as a base to explore East Anglia. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, you can walk the Stour Valley Path, cycle to nearby villages like Lavenham or Long Melford, or paddle board along the Stour River. Full size pool table for entertainment. Oh, and 2 fab pubs just a mile away!

The Loft is situated on the edge of Stanton village in West Suffolk. Close to Bury St Edmunds - 15 mins by car, Cambridge - 45 mins by car or train from B St E, Stowmarket - Train station is 20 mins, London - Direct from Stowmarket by train, Aldeburgh - 45 min drive and many other coastal areas. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets).
