We came all the way from Wisconsin (USA) to visit an old friend that moved to Mangawhai. He recommended we headed north for the weekend and landed at Jordan’s home and we loved it. We spent most of our time on the patio / living space with the doors open listening to records. It was perfect. The home reminds me of my great grandparents cabin in up north Wisconsin when I was a kid. We spent time in downtown Kerikeri, where it had probably one of the coolest parks my son has ever been to (NZ had much cooler slides and zip lines than the US). We had friends that went fishing in the Bay of Islands that we ate for dinner that night at the house. We hit up the local market on Saturday morning where they had lots of vendors, music and food. We took the ferry over to Russell for the day. My son made friends with some of the neighbors while on some morning strolls. Definitely made the most of our time while we were there. Blown away by location and beautifully presented home, complete with all the bells and whisltes. Loved that we had access to plenty of beach toys, games and books. Did not need a thing. Felt right at home after travelling 800kms. Perfect size for a big whanau who love the beach. The sunrises and sunsets are stunning.

I booked on behalf of work colleagues and they had a very comfortable stay. Thanks for the prompt communication and wonderful home for the guys to relax in after work.

Lovely place to stay and relax for a couple of nights. The house is super clean and spacious. Has everything you need and more. Super cosy and also private. Nikki and Chris were super responsive and very accommodating. We had a great stay here and couldn't recommend it enough :)

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nev & Rach’s beautiful home. Lots of space, very clean, amazing views and nice neighbourhood. Locals were friendly. Also the baby safety gates were very handy for our toddler. First time in Paihia and if I ever visit again I will definitely rebook. Thanks for having our family.

Carmen and Justin are friendly welcoming host who go the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable relaxing break in their beautiful home. From the start they had excellent communication-accepting our late request on a busy weekend with a contractor rounding up on site. The home is cosy, clean, stylish and ideally located. It was children friendly and had plenty of board games and entertainment for quality family time. Despite our short stay we would highly recommend and book again in future. Thank you for a short and sweet getaway.

Beautiful, peaceful location. House was spotless and had everything you needed. Multiple outside zones to enjoy the nature and water views. Super private and only a 7 min drive to the heart of Russell.

James was a very accommodating and responsive host, the two properties are exactly as shown and served our large family gathering well. We got to hunker down in a cyclone but always felt sheltered and safe. Great for large groups!

We are delighted with our holiday at Terry’s beautiful home. An incredible view in a position that must be classed as a national treasure! The house is excellent in every way.
