Quiet La Garita Cabin | Trails, Stars & Wood Stove

This 1000sq ft cabin in the country with a very rural setting. It is quiet and relaxing, has a wood stove and is close to outdoor activities. Penitent Canyon, La Garita, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, 4wheeling, ATV trails, snowmobiling, skiing (Wolf Creek is 50 min drive). It has a canal running by in the summer. We offer a Self-serve breakfast with home-made yogurt, home-made granola, home-made bread for toast, local grown organic eggs, (hot coffee, chocolate, tea) on request.

Great views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and within walking distance to the town of Crestone. Each bedroom has a full private bathroom. This is a non pet unit, but we do have other pet friendly spaces available. Reserved by the bedroom and the number of guests, therefore each bedroom is an additional price. 5 guests maximum.

This suite features two separate entrances into the suite, one with easy access to parking, and the other a sliding glass door opening into a private patio overlooking the beautiful gardens. Wireless internet, coffee and tea are complimentary for our guests.

This home is the perfect base camp for mountain climbing or sightseeing adventures or a quiet getaway. Enjoy the views of the sunrise, the Sanger de Cristo mountains and the unbelievably beautiful dark skies. This is a working ranch so you may encounter farm animals and ranch activity.

Built in 2023, this carriage house was created for comfort and quality in mind. It accommodates up to five guests with two queen bedrooms and a sofa bed in the main living area, each with its own TV. Enjoy a roomy modern bathroom with a tub, a bright open living and dining space with new furniture, and a fully equipped kitchen. Large doors open to a spacious wraparound elevated deck, perfect for relaxing and taking in the surroundings.
