Nice place to stay

A lovely house, located just a 10-minute drive from both Turaida and Sigulda. The kitchen and living room were spacious and well-equipped, and perfect for relaxing. We loved the terrace outside that had plenty of room to sit and enjoy the warm, Spring weather!

Mēs pavadījām brīnišķīgu laiku šajā viesu mājā! Gan pati māja, gan apkārtne mūs patīkami pārsteidza – ļoti mājīga, tīra un ērta vide, kur baudīt mieru un atpūtu. Apkārtnē ir daudz skaistu vietu pastaigām un dabas baudīšanai, kas padarīja mūsu uzturēšanos vēl īpašāku. Īpašs paldies viesu mājas saimniekiem par sirsnīgo uzņemšanu un lielisko komunikāciju – viss tika nodrošināts, lai mēs justos ērti un gaidīti. Mēs noteikti atgriezīsimies un iesakām šo vietu arī citiem, kas vēlas patīkamu un relaksējošu atpūtu!

Family oriented place. so be ready for lots of kids on playground :) We were lucky with two other families having small kids. Very nice garden. Surprisingly, not much noise can be heard from neighbouring flats at night. Owners are very nice friendly people and they come only when guests needed, lots of privacy for guests. House has everything you need including tea, coffee and cooking oil and etc. Shower is great. Boiler is good. TV with kids movies. Maybe frying pans need an upgrade and would be nice to have microwave. Also for garden very much needed a tent for rainy weather. When children have day nap can still seat outside and chat. The house next to train station btw, so train can be loud, didn't bother me being honest. To the beach 10 min walk, very cheap tasty bistro on a way to the beach. Main street with night life and restaurant about 30-40 min walk. Despite some minuses, I very much enjoyed the place same as my kid and two mine pomeranian dogs.

Very nice guest cottage in a beautiful garden. Everything was just as pictured and described. Very clean, private parking and an extremely quiet neighborhood. Great location just a quick 10-minute walk to the station and restaurants around it and a 20-minute walk to the Sigulda New Castle. Very responsive host. Highly recommend!

It was a great pleasure for my family and me to spend our Christmas holidays at Villa Gunda! The house is perfect for a large family or group, with 5 bathrooms (one in each bedroom, plus one on the ground floor) and plenty of space to cook, dine, and relax. The location is ideal, too – we didn't have a car, but it's only a 25-minute train ride to the center of Riga. We loved being in a peaceful spot near the sea while still having easy access to the city. A special thanks to Ligita, who was an exceptional host. She was always quick to respond, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Our bus from Riga was late in the evening, and she kindly allowed us to stay a bit longer, ensuring we could check out just before our departure. That gesture was much appreciated! In summary, I highly recommend Villa Gunda to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay!

Это дом, куда хочется вернуться! Прекрасная планировка дома, Супер уютная гостиная с выходом на веранду, удобная кухня, спальни. Всё очень удобно и продуманно. На кухне есть всё необходимое и для готовки и для сервировки. Ощущение какбудто ты дома. Спасибо, мы обязательно вернёмся!!!

This was a perfect location which was right at the heart of Riga but so private and quiet. We had a lovely time here in this cosy and historic building where everything was right on your doorstep. Victoria was incredibly helpful and organised late check out for us as we had a very late flight - highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back !

Hatten einen sehr komfortablen Aufenthalt bei Ludmila. Preis/Leistung ist wirklich top. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hell und schön eingerichtet. Auch durften wir freundlicherweise den Kamin benutzen. Die Anbindung an die Altstadt mit dem Stadtzentrum ist ebenfalls top, innerhalb von 15min ist man mit Bus und Bahn dort. Dass die Bahnlinie vor der Haustür stört, kann ich so nicht bestätigen. Klar, hört man die Bahn gelegentlich vorbeifahren, nachts hat das aber nicht gestört, zumal die Bahn tief in der Nacht gar nicht fährt.

Perfectly cosy place to stay at. Walkable from city centre, a lot of restaurants around, peaceful and safe. I would absolutely recommend to stay here if you're visiting Riga – even for a longer period, since the place has all necessities. ❤️ Would love to stay here again.

The apartment was amazing and exactly as described. The location was excellent, with easy access to different places around the city. There was a grocery store nearby and a very cozy restaurant right downstairs, which was a lovely bonus. The apartment itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt right at home. We truly enjoyed our time there. Arita was a wonderful, friendly, and flexible host who responded to messages quickly and made sure everything went smoothly. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Our long weekend stay at Anita was a real pleasure! The place was beautiful inside and was located perfectly to explore the city by foot. Would recommend for anyone who is a group of a couple of people or just want a nice place for themselves! And the recommendations Anita made for us was very personalised to us and the ones we tried out was perfect for us. Would live here again

Mila's apartment was fantastic. clean, really spacious and a short walk from the beach. we have been to Jurmala a few times but this apartment made it even more special. and to top it off there is also a fantastic sauna in the apartment which was used on a regular basis. thanks Mila for a wonderful holiday.

Thanks to the host! The place is clean, the house is spacious, and the sauna is great. They were also very helpful and responsive. I recommend visiting, especially in the summer season.

A cosy place for a family retreat closer to the nature.

We had a fabulous stay. Had few small problems to begin with water pressure and heating but host was very responsive and got it sorted straight away. Close to beach . Nice for a quiet stay with family and friends. We experienced a little winter magic as well. Rooms were lovely and bathrooms very stylish. Kids room was great and had all the toys and everything you need. Underfloor heating was great and house was super warm. There’s a piano and some other games which made our evenings very enjoyable! I would come back for sure!

Amazing house, very big and homey , with everything a family needs for a long stay from touts for the beach, games, books and cooking equipment. Beautiful garden and friendly hosts.

Paikka oli loistava isommalle porukalle. hyvät tilat ja riittävästi makuupaikkkoja. Ainoastaan ruokapöydän puuttuminen oli pieni miinus. Aamupala tarjoilut onnistui hyvin baaritiskillä ja disko tilan pöydillä.

We absolutely loved our stay and would love to come back as it seems I found my power place. All fits together to make this masterpiece of a property - beautiful tranquil location in the midst of a national park, architectural gem - an outstanding modern design reimagined within the heritage codes of Latvian farmsteads. The most serene place that encourages family to come together where my 10 year old daughter didn’t even have the time for her devices being fully absorbed in fishing (there’s own pond), playing outside or watching fallen stars at the fireplace at night. The house is fully equipped and “smart” so on a rainy day you could fully immerse yourself in cooking, listening to the music, or watching series - WiFi works great. Davis is a great responsive host, and I hope will welcome us again soon. As we are sure to go back.

Beautiful house very close to the beach. Linda was an excellent host. The house was warm and cosy in the winter. It was very well equipped and had lots of homely touches. Saulkrasti was peaceful and looked pretty in the snow. Thanks again for a wonderful stay.
