We had to find a place last minute due to some unexpected circumstances, and Lori was incredibly accommodating. We only needed it for one night to fit five of us, and the three-bedroom setup was perfect. She went above and beyond by offering early check-in and late check-out, and even brought us muffins and coffee since she knew we had to hit the road early. The space was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty at times, but it didn’t cause any major issues. All in all, a great stay — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

We had the absolute best stay at Jeanie’s home! It was beautiful, spacious, and so well decorated, and the property couldn’t be more peaceful. The chickens and ducks in the backyard were so fun to watch, and really made the stay so magical. Jeanie was so helpful too, with lots of local recommendations and made our whole trip so easy! The house oozes with charm and character, and we couldn’t have loved it more!

Caroline was a wonderful host. We felt very welcome and appreciated the breakfast food, milk, and juice. I would definitely stay there again.

Where do we start? Communication leading up to and during our stay was wonderful! Anything you could possibly need was readily available, down to the jerk sauce in the fridge. Lol. We always purchase our own cleaning products anywhere we stay and this was the 1st time we used none of it. Down to cups and even the beverages left for us. The home was so welcoming and comfortable that we slept longer than we intended to and missed an activity we planned for. Lol. This was a spectacular AirBNB experience! We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. A 10/10 experience by far.

We went to the house during the winter, and it was absolutely magical! The place was so cozy and warm, and we had the best snow day ever. We lit the fireplace, and the whole area looked like a winter wonderland with all the snow and frozen lake. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

It is a charming place back into the water. Love listening to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunset and the noght light on the other side of the water.

My family and I enjoyed staying in this charming and peaceful house. Just as cute as the photos promise. I especially liked having morning coffee at the bay window and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The house is an easy drive to Catamount and other ski spots, restaurants and shopping. Darius was great to communicate with--prompt and friendly. The water pressure in the showers was low but manageable. The stairs are steep--it was fine for my 7-year-old daughter, but something to keep in mind for younger kids. We hope we get the chance to stay here again!

Truly home sweet home. Just walk in and relax. Fully stocked kitchen including milk, eggs, butter and pastries so no need to rush out to go grocery shopping. Convenient to New Haven yet completely quiet neighborhood for resting and taking walks.

Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Beautiful home, exactly how it was described and looked even better in person. Incredible surrounding areas and activities. Steven was helpful throughout the stay and incredibly flexible. Wonderful host! Will definitely be planning a yearly visit.

The place was much bigger than the photos and we enjoyed the stay! especially the indoor fireplace and the house is beautifully decorated. Blake was a great host, she did a quick tour of the place when we arrived and gave us some flexible check out time because of the weather/road condition (thank you!) even though we left just before the check out time. Overall, it was a wonderful stay :)

Donna was an amazing host and extremely responsive. The property was beautiful and exactly as described in the listing. The pool, pond, sauna’s made the entire experience feel like a special escape from the city. I highly recommend this property and can’t wait to go back!

One of the more thoughtful places we’ve stayed in. Good for grandparents, young parents, a toddler and a dog! Highly recommend and I’m sure the pool is great come summer months

This wonderful antique home is in a Beautiful spot in the heart of Litchfield CT, and a delight early spring when the fields of daffodils awake! This unique 1793 house has a great view & sunset, fireplace, simple spa/gym making it a gem even when the pool is closed. Nearby the town with lots to offer and local farms for food shopping too. What’s not to love 💛 Bonus is a great host offering a home that is in touch with the realities of rentals, pets and people -not picky, precious or punitive. Happy to recommend and return! We had a great stay at this cottage- it was a perfect size for our family and was extremely clean, warm and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, and proximity to town. Hosts were very friendly and responsive but never intrusive. Would highly recommend.

The loft was lovely: fireplace, large balcony, view down the mountain, TV with airplay support, kitchen, etc. the surrounding was quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and very friendly. Would recommend to others.

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

We were looking for a last minute peaceful four day getaway and we found it here. We can’t stop talking about it. Although relatively close to everything we felt as if we were in the middle of a forest. The only sounds were the chirping of song birds and a woodpecker in the morning. Local restaurants are great and for us a trip to Yale University’s free museums and nearby antique shops rounded things out. The house is charming and Rio, our host , made sure we had everything. The few things we forgot from home were there! Wonderful experience all around.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was perfect for our family ski vacation. We had plenty of space and the views out the back deck were breathtaking. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed- even pizza pans that we had forgot to bring! The location was ideal for skiing. Less than 5 minutes and we were at the mountain. Lastly, it snowed a bit while we were there and we were impressed to see the driveway was plowed first thing in the morning. Overall, it was a great stay in a wonderful home.

Stayed here for about a month and felt right at home with spacious rooms and lots of amenities provided, being 20 degrees in winter the apartment stood very warm and clean and it was a wonderful place to call home for 30 days. Kisha was very helpful and responsive when I needed to communicate and she’s very kind. If I’m ever near the area in the near future I would definitely book here again no hesitation! Thank you!

Nice place located in a beautiful secluded house in a safe neighborhood. Gorgeous property. Our dogs were allowed and they were very comfortable. The amenities were exactly as described. Extremely clean and well maintained. The place was easy to locate and easy to access. It is convenient to many local stores and restaurants. Great, responsive hosts!

Robin's gardener's cottage is just as billed-- a very peaceful and cozy cottage with all the amenities and a few creature comforts like a large screen TV with streaming services and good wifi, granite countertops. Having enough room for two and perhaps even sleeping 3 with the trundle bed is a magnificent value and a great getaway! The little alcove dining area is so nice! Thanks, Robin!
