Your snug (cosy lounge) includes the original operational Edwardian fireplace with a modern cupboard kitchenette. The front verandah has been enclosed to create a sunroom with daybed.

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

Suitable for children over five. Pet friendly. Blackwood 'Treetops' is also work friendly as the house has a large desk with landline and internet access. Stunning, self contained, rustic cabin, with A-frame ceiling, hand crafted wooden cabinetry and vintage detailing. The house is surrounded by an established native garden and basks in lots of natural night. The stars at night are breathtaking. To further enhance the experience The Cabin is without wi-fi (if you are with Telstra you can get pretty decent 4G) - a nice opportunity to disconnect. And a late checkout at 2pm also helps.
