FUJI BASE HOSTEL SAMURISE KURA -蔵-, and has been welcoming guests from all over the world since 2017. We respected and maintained the traditional Japanese style in the process of refurbishment, so you could enjoy and experience the traditional Japanese housing. We offer 4 different types rooms [Ume(梅) Momiji(椛) Sakura(桜) Tsubaki(椿)] depending on the group size (a child counted as 1 person, only aged 6 and up acceptable). We can keep your luggage free of charge before you check-in and after check-out. We also do a bicycle hire, which is very convenient for cycling around Lake Kawaguchi looking over Mt. Our dormitory rooms are designed with the minutest attention to detail, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is memorable. Each bed is equipped with a power outlet and also fitted with a dedicated light. Moreover, we respect the need for personal space even in a shared environment. Each bed in our dormitory rooms comes with privacy curtains.

Japanese Private Room with Toilet Max 3 people

This washitsu* has a Japanese low table and zabutons* on tatami* flooring. You sleep on futons* laid on the tatami, and you can sit directly on the tatami or zabutons set on it. Toilet is inside the room. All of our rooms are non-smoking ones. There is no TV in the room. Washitsu*: Japanese style room Zabuton*: Japanese cushion tatami*: Thick straw mats that cover the floor futon*: Traditional Japanese bedding consisting of padded mattresses and pliable quilts.

Our private room features 1 or 2 futon beds on traditional tatami floors. The shared areas include bathrooms, dining space and a work/lounge/library area. The hostel Saruya Hostel opened in 2015 in Fujiyoshida, a city at the bottom of Mt Fuji. We renovated an 80 years old wooden house to create a place that allows our guests to experience time and space through carefully selected art, design and objects, mixing traditional Japanese inspiration with modern aesthetics.

This Superior Dormitory room is a 10 cabin bed-mixed dorm shared by maximum of 12 people. (8 single cabins and 2 double sized cabins) You can use one of the single-sized cabin beds in the room. This bed has side walls and ceiling, so you will have a private space inside the bed. Comfort and good sleep. It comes with curtains, a reading light, power adapters and a security locker.
