The place was absolutely amazing and as advertised in the photos. Ann-Sofie was also very quick to respond and super helpful at all times. The place was spotless and was the perfect getaway we needed. I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Hashim’s place in Fumba Town is a true sanctuary. Clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed — perfect for rest, reflection, or remote work. The space is modern, airy, and filled with natural light, with a balcony that feels like a private retreat. Fumba itself is calm, secure, and beautifully laid out — ideal if you want a break from the tourist buzz. What really sets this stay apart is Hashim himself: kind, respectful, and incredibly helpful without ever being intrusive. He genuinely wants you to feel at home, and it shows. Whether you’re creating, healing, or just needing a safe, quiet space — this is it. I left feeling more grounded and clear than when I arrived. Highly recommend and would definitely return.

We had a great time at Lulus' place. The house was clean and matched the photos. Place is a bit far from Stone town and any touristy activities but very close to the airport.

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Fumba Town verbracht! Es war sehr ruhig und sauber! Die Wohnung und der Service von Neema sind super! Wunderschöne Umgebung mit schönem Park, super Pool und das Meer ist auch sehr einladend bei Flut. Einkufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants alles zu Fuss durch schöne, schattige Parks mit vielen Pflanzen, erreichbar. Super Spielplatz für die Kinder gleich vis à vis der Wohnung!

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Saidi war immer da, sei es Stromausfall oder Fragen zum Umgebung gewesen. Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, die Zimmer waren nicht hellhörig und die Küche hatte die Basics die man braucht. Die Waschmaschine war ein großes +. Zur Unterkunft zu kommen war zu beginn nicht ganz so einfach, aber nach ein bis zweimalen findet man den Weg sehr einfach. Betten waren bequem und die Zimmer waren sauber.

A nice cozy place in Jambiani Very private and has all the facilities you might need,just 3 minutes walk from the beach and to nice local restaurants and little grocery stores. Lisa and her husband will give you all the directions and suggestions to enjoy your visit of the South of Zanzibar. Highly recommended!

Ich fühlte mich vom ersten Moment an wie zu Hause. Nadja ist eine sehr freundliche Gastgeberin, ein richtiger Herzensmensch. Die Anlage ist sehr sauber und eine richtige Oase zum erholen. Die Lage ist optimal. Zum Strand sind es gerade mal 2 Minuten zu laufen, wie auch zu den nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants. Ich möchte auch ihrem ganzen Team meinen Dank aussprechen. Ich fühlte mich bei meiner „zanzibarischen Family“ herzlichst aufgenommen. Asante sana 🙏 Ich freu mich schon auf unser nächstes Wiedersehen 🫶

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

Smukt, privat, roligt. Det perfekte sted at koble fra og glemme hverdagen for en stund. Der er massere af plads til frit at udfolde sig, om man er til træning og yoga, eller hellere vil ligge ved poolen i enten sol eller skygge. Smuk udsigt og gennemført have.

Séjour exceptionnel ! La maison est décorée avec goût et parfaitement située à quelques pas de la plage. Calme, propre, confortable, avec tout ce qu’il faut pour se sentir chez soi. L’hôte a été disponible, chaleureux et très professionnel. Un vrai petit coin de paradis à Zanzibar. Je reviendrai sans hésiter !

Tivemos uma ótima estadia! Juli foi super atenciosa e nos deu várias recomendações. A casa tem duas amplas suítes, sala e cozinha com itens básicos para preparo de café da manhã e outras refeições. Os aparelhos de ar condicionado funcionaram adequadamente, mesmo com queda de energia em alguns momentos. O condomínio tem gerador que entra automaticamente. A piscina do condomínio é uma delícia e as crianças se divertiram bastante no pula-pula! Nos sentimos seguros na casa também. Obrigada, Juli!

We stayed at Fumba town for 5 days and the place was brilliant. Thanks to our lovely host and area the place was worth it. Bathroom and rooms looked better than in the picture.

Absolutely incredible stay! The villa was stunning, offering a clean, relaxing atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and cooperative, ensuring every need was met with warmth & professionalism. Daily housekeeping and laundry services kept everything pristine throughout our stay. The pool was fantastic—large, well-maintained, cleaned daily, and boasting a stunning ocean view. Swimming there was an absolute delight! The villa also has stairs leading directly down to the ocean For activities nearby: - *Scuba diving:* One Ocean Dive Centre in Matemwe offers cool diving experiences. (10min driving) - *Horse riding on the beach:Zanzibar Horse Safari at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa with other water activities (15min driving) - *Dolphin & Snorkeling Tour near Mnemba Island We are genuinely grateful to Susan, Ali, and Doris for making our stay in Zanzibar memorable, and we highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an amazing escape!

Simone was een geweldige host! Reageerde super snel. Saïd haalde ons van het vliegveld en stond altijd paraat. Mtumwa poetse geweldig! Brandschoon. Bedden werden elke 4 dagen heerlijk verschoond. Bij uitval van electriciteit en water was er een generator. Fijn! Strand voor de deur niet echt schoon, maar klein stukje lopen en je hebt een fijn strand. In huis een info map met allerlei tips voor uitstapjes. Je kunt de hulpzame Saïd als chauffeur vragen, of iemand anders. Kinderen uit de buurt spelen voor de deur op het strand. Wij hebben er van genoten! Zet om 17.30 je stoel op het strand en kijk naar de visserbootjes die met hun vangst terugkomen. Het huis heeft een heerlijke veranda met eettafel en stoelen, waar je kunt ontbijten etc. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf van 4 weken gehad en danken Simone voor de goeie communicatie! Tip: neem eea voor de kinderen mee. Ze zijn echt arm.

Zoe is a pleasant host, she was flexible with check in times and greeted us personally. Apartment is nice, it's close to the main road and boda will take you for 2-3k shillings to Kendwa or Nungwi beach. Wi-fi worked good during our whole stay. Quality of shower is very good. Zoe solved promptly one small problem that we had with stove. She even helped me with some meds when i was sick. Things for improvement: there is water pressure pump for house but sometimes it didn't work, so sometimes pressure was low. Zoe said that she has a plan to change water pump, so i think she will solve it for future guests. As per listing, there are no AC units, but there are ceiling fans in every room. Also washing machine would be nice add on for future guests, although there is a house helper who can wash your clothes for 20k shillings per wash except underwears, that you need to wash yourself. If you don't mind those small cons, you won't go wrong with Zoe and her place.

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

The place matched the description and photos in every way. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped with amenities that made my stay pleasant and smooth. The surrounding complex was serene and well-run. The host was responsive and helpful. All in all, a great place to stay.

Abudy was very responsive and he got us a driver who facilitated our movements around Zanzibar seamlessly. He has a team that comes in to clean on request and they quickly responded when we made a request for additional towels in the night. The place is clean and I internet was reliable. I would highly recommend this place and will certainly stay there again on my next visit.

The apartment is on a private compound with a lagoon pool, a playground and a common area with a work space. Perfect for remote work. Everything in the apartment is of great quality and in top condition, the staff at the facility is absolutely lovely and welcoming and there is a little balcony. I can definitely recommend staying there. It's a short walk to the beach and many, many restaurants just around the corner

Nous avons passé deux nuits chez Abdallah, l’appartement est propre et fonctionnel, idéalement situé très proche des petites rues étroites de Stone Town qui mènent au bord de mer en 8mn à pied. Nous avons été accueillis très généreusement et Abdallah répondait à toutes nos questions dès que nous en avions besoin. Idéal pour découvrir Stone Town et ses richesses, merci encore !

A good place for a one-night stay. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Walkable to go to the beach and go eat. Nice house manager Mr Jerry. The place doesn’t have WiFi (even though it is advertised), which is tough if you don’t have a local SIM card, and are depending on WiFi for coordinating your trip. Remember to bring bath towels, soap, and toilet paper, as there are no essentials included in this listing. Also the area is prone to electricity blackouts, so if you’re used to staying in hotels with generators, be prepared when staying in any AirBnB in Zanzibar, for blackouts.
