Greenwich Village is a really nice and popular area for tourists and locals to go and visit. This area is right around the corner from NYU’s campus. The neighborhood is full of young artists with tons of hidden gems on every block. Food, nightlife, Jazz clubs, and boutique shopping are all things that make this area great.

A neighbor hood on the lower west side of Manhattan, traditionally associated with writers, artists, and musicians. Many small stores with characters, vibrant night life scene.

This is the neighborhood I grew up in so I am biased. Has a little to a LOT of everything I think of in the NYC experience minus the super tall buildings.

Slightly east of The West Village. Greenwich Village is home to NYU and The New School, and you will likely see tons of students, shops, and more students. You can also sit in Union Square and people watch, play a game of chess with a local, or visit the farmer’s market.
