For those of you who want to experience Carries Sex in the city and the most luxurious restaurants and shopping in Nyc you simply must see the UES and also make sure that you splurge and take yourself to the Carlye.

I have only lived in NYC a year so my advice is limited. Make sure to do your own research! Local Area (UES): -Things to Do: the Met, the Guggenheim, the Cooper Hewitt Design Building, Central Park -Shopping around 86th street -Restaurants/Bars: Muglai (indian), the Milton (nice drinks), UES (fancy speakeasy), 3 decker (cheap, classic diner), Earl's / The Guthrie (casual bars), 5 mile stone (classic bar), the daisy (brunch)
