Great place to watch a film in a quirky cinema, also is a cafe in the day with board games on a Saturday morning. There is live jazz music on the first Thursday of every month.

Built in 1880 as a Temperance Hall, it first became a cinema in 1946. After being used as a library and other things, it's recently been re- stored to its former cinema glory,as a private, social enterprise, run to embrace the unique character of Totnes. The Cinema also serves as a relaxed social space for all ages to meet and chat with a drink and snack before and after performances.
