A favorite location for birding and easy strolls through a protected environment.
Take a slow walk or quick-paced hike through the park to take in the natural beauty! Be sure to take some time to birdwatch the magnificent creatures!
Easy trail with bunnies and historical information regarding the native Americans which settled the area.
A great place to hike, relax, take the kids to play and visit. Find all sorts of wildlife on your hike.
5 Park Lane, Charlestown, RI This hike has four miles of trails set in 858 acres of swamps, grassy fields, and the largest saltwater pond in Rhode Island, Ninigrit Pond. There is even an old airfield. It is a little confusing when you enter the park where to find the hiking trails, and I suggest continuing along the road until it ends in a parking lot.
