Though the Museum was founded in 1933, things really changed when Walter P. Chrysler, Jr. brought his collection of more than 10,000 works of art to Norfolk in 1971.
This is the best museum in Norfolk! Free parking and admission, but you are encouraged to give a donation. There's a variety of exhibitions with hundreds of works of art and historical pieces. 2 floors of nicely designed exhibits with diff themes.
