The Massif has lots of good walking trails and is also perfect for cycling and mountain biking. Along the coast road, you can visit small towns and resorts such as Agay, with its sheltered bay and a lovely beach, Le Trayas, and Mandelieu-la-Napoule with its harbor and 14th-century castle. Beautiful red rocks park between Mandelieu and Frejus where you can hike off-season (not in July and August). Many of the hikes end with a stunning sea view that's well worth the effort!

the Massif de l'Esterel is a Mediterranean coastal mountain range in Provence. The soil and rocks of the range are of volcanic origin, composed mainly of porphyry, which gives the hills a red color. The terrain is rugged, with deep ravines and oak forests. L’Estérel offers many hiking and biking trails with beautiful panoramic views on the Mediterranean from Saint Tropez to Cap d’Antibes, Cannes and the Lérins islands.
