Both a Brewery and a Brew Pub with a great patio, Bancroft Brewing Co has become a staple in the brewing industry. Proud of the community's heritage, the team at the brewery names their beers in relation and dedication to the heritage from which their community was built. They also take great pride in the fact that the water source which they use to craft their brews is spring fed through the Canadian Shield which acts as a natural filter and offers up water that is naturally enriched in minerals creating a unique flavour for beer making in the area. It would be impossible to create this mineral content artificially which means that Bancroft Brewing Co makes truly unique beers. Brewery closed Monday, Tuesday Open Wed-Thurs 11-5, Fri 11-6, Sat 11-5, Sun 12-4 Brew Pub open every day 11am-9pm

In the heart of the century-old building on the corner of Bridge and Hastings Streets lies Bancroft Brewing Co. Following a mix of traditional British and German brewing traditions, they create small-batch beers that reflect the community itself. While they use both top-quality hops and barley, what sets them apart is their water as it comes from deep within the Canadian Shield. The naturally-added minerals found within it give their beers a unique taste that you can only find in Bancroft. You can’t miss this iconic building on the corner of Bridge and Hastings! Enjoy the classic low-key atomsphere of a pub while enjoying a local pint brewed on site by the Bancroft Brewing Co. Utilizing water from deep within the Canadian Shield, the rich minerals found in it give their beers a unique taste you won’t find anywhere else! The Bancroft Brew Pub is serving up delicious pub fare like burgers, wings and fish and chips. After a hot day of exploring, a cold pint and a hot meal on their patio is just waht the doctor ordered. They’re well known in town for having half price wings on Thursdays and live entertainment on Fridays. While things have been on hold due to the recent state of affairs, hopefully these nights will appear again soon!
