I don't usually visit the arboretum in the warmer months (although you certainly could), but I will sometimes visit in the winter months to use their groomed cross-country ski trails. Please note that to use the trails, you need to have a MN Ski Pass.

All year round the Arboretum boasts magnificent displays of nature and beauty, offering well manicured trails for hiking, skiing and snowshoeing.

A member-supported nonprofit organization aimed at connecting our community to nature and protecting our natural environment. Conveniently located in the middle of Brainerd/Baxter, Minnesota with plenty of natural space to explore. Make sure you set aside time to wander their expansive trail system and beautiful gardens. You won't be disappointed.
