Wander through the narrow cobbled streets and you’ll find Prašná Bašta, serving authentic Slovakian food. Fittingly located in the Old Town of Bratislava, this restaurant is situated in a beautiful 16th Century building - the former bastion. The menu is focused on pork dishes but also a reasonably large vegetarian section, offering four vegetarian dishes. They even have a substantial list of desserts, including a goats cheese and pear dish. This restaurant is the perfect blend of hearty Slovakian food and a relaxed ambience.

Beautiful historical building, few steps from Michalska gate. Local and traditional specialties, good selection of salads, localy brewed beer and slovak wines. Cosy atmosphere, very popular and good value. In the summer you can enjoy their romantic courtyard garden.
