Tŷ Hyll, or the ‘Ugly House’, is the Snowdonia Society’s flagship property offering nature and conservation activities for people of all ages, inspiring a love for nature and for Snowdonia’s wild beauty and heritage. Once the Snowdonia Society’s headquarters, the Ugly House houses an independently run tearoom and Honeybee Room and is surrounded by a wildlife garden and woodland. Enjoy a ‘panad’ (cuppa) and delicious home baked food in the cosy Pot Mêl (honey pot) tearoom while discovering more about the history of this unique cottage.
