Riding the tram is a very cool experience. You soar over the city and experience amazing views. Try walking up from the Waterfront and riding back down. Great way to see hidden parts of SW Portland.

The newest addition to our transportation system, the tram is a short and scenic ride from the waterfront to the campus of Oregon Health Sciences Hospital and back again. Ticket is not included in the Trimet day pass, but you only pay to go up to the hospital and not for the ride back. Great views of the Mt. Hood, the river and downtown Portland.
