Park at the Bay Shore train station (at your own risk) as a cheaper option vs parking at the Fire Island ferry terminal. Note that taking the train to the Bay Shore LIRR train station is recommended since there is no driving on Fire Island. Hop on the bus for a ride from the train to the boat for $5.
