Possibly the best coffee in Detroit. Parking downtown is a pain. But on a nice day you should spend some time downtown anyway. You can actually walk here from the River Walk.

New York Coffeehouse with JavaBot serves gourmet coffee in the center of Downtown Detroit across from Campus Martius. Hours are Monday - Thursday 6am - 7pm, Friday 6am - 9pm, Saturday 7am - 9pm, and Sunday 8am - 7pm.
