The Prospect Park Zoo is 12 acres and has over 860 animals and over 176 species! The sea lions and red pandas are always among the favorites. Playful river otters and Australian dingoes are among the animals you'll only see here in NYC. The Animal Lifestyles indoor exhibits give an up-close view of how some animals live, and the barnyard has plenty of friendly animals to pet and feed.

Perfect-sized zoo for little kids. Can reserve tickets in advance while capacity is limited. Easy, free parking on Flatbush Avenue near entrance. Bring quarters for barnyard animal food.
