A little hidden gem for nature lovers. Great place for families or solo nature lovers. Have lots of nature exhibits and a great outdoor space with great walking trails.Have a great little coffee and snack shop and bookstore.
If you like to learn more about birds and nature, go on a walk and they even have a kids outdoor music park. There is biking from here as well.
A must see! Beautiful trails along Gaetz Lake and through woods, 3 km walking loop or a longer one, many waterfowl in this area and an interpretive centre!
Newly renovated exhibits, natural playground and music garden or simply go for a stroll on one of our fabulous nature trails in the Sanctuary.

“Bower Ponds is a great park to visit year around. Great place to go walking around the lake in the summer or go for a picnic and watch the birds. go skating on the pond in the winter. There is also a great Tea House called then Conquest House that offer great lunches and high tea through out the year.”

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame is an interactive, hands-on celebration of Alberta's sporting history. Our over 7,000 square feet of exhibit space includes a multisport area with virtual baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer, a 200 meter wheelchair challenge, a Treadwall climbing wall, the Orest Korbutt Theatre, Hall of Fame Gallery, and much more. Our museum has over 16,000 artifacts of Alberta sports history in the collection and showcases many of these items in a number of displays. The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame also offers an education program, group activities, and a unique environment to rent for your birthday party, special event, corporate reception or meetings.
