Walk or even better cycle this route and catch up with the Pennine Way. You can walk out to Meadowhall if you should choose. Beautiful and industrial scenery along the way. Romantic. Pleasant. Good exercise - but flat so easy for all. Start in town down by the Ibis hotel.

This is a cycling and walking trail that follows National cycle route 6 along the river Don from Sheffield City Centre to the Meadowhall Shopping Centre. This is appropriately 6 miles and flat and well maintained so good for families and cycle rides.
