The park along the riverside is a great place to go for a walk along the Mondego River. The park has many different areas, one has restaurants and a park for kids (north side). On the south side, you have "Exploratório", a museum and a place for activities related to science for kids but also the municipal swimming pool and the many nautic activities promoted by Associação Académica.

Great leisure park just outside the studio. That's were the city center connects with nature, including its river. There, a visitor can find all sorts of leisure and sport activities and a selection of great food places and bars in the city.

perfect for families: playground close to downtown, watch the rowboats and kayaks on the river, feed the ducks (maybe not.. oh well.. the kids like that)
