We all love Conestee Nature Preserve. Whether it’s the place you go to get away, observe wildlife, restore inner peace, walk your dog, ride your bike, take a class, or all of the above, the Preserve is a special place for so many, including you!
This place is AMAZING! I have gone there many times with my children and my pup. There is also a dog park near the preserve. So much fun and full on nature.

Amid the hustle and bustle of Greenville is this gorgeous preservation area with miles of walking and biking trails, playgrounds, and a dog park. Their website describes it best, “Lake Conestee Nature Park consists of approximately 400 acres of beautiful natural habitat on the Reedy River just 6 miles south of downtown Greenville, South Carolina. The park contains both hardwood and evergreen forest, extensive wetlands, 3 miles of the Reedy River, and a rich diversity of wildlife habitat. Deer, raccoon, beaver, fox, river otter, and various small mammals inhabit the park, along with numerous species of reptiles and amphibians. Over 200 bird species have been reported by the Greenville County Bird Club. The park has been designated as an Important Bird Area of Global Significance by the National Audubon Society.” It is so great to watch all the different species and to enjoy the wonder of nature.
