One of Denmark's most significant churches, with over 1000 years of history. It's the burial place of the Danish royal family with 40 kings and queens buried there. Queen Margrethe's sarcophagus ready and waiting for her (but can't be visited yet). There's room for Prince Henrik but he said no thank you, which caused a bit of a stir.

Well, this is a fantastic beautiful place which is build about 1200 years ago. Most of the former old Kings and Queens in Denmark are buried here. There is already a place here for our current Queen Margrethe II and Prince Henrik here. The information is also in English. For direction you go to Roskilde Station, and then it is near by; just ask anyone there if you cannot find it.

The Dome in Roskilde, where all the kings are burried. Go there by Bus 4A to Valby, hit numerous trains going westward AND stops in Roskilde. This also is a very nice town.
