Red line is next to Whole Foods and very close and takes you straight to China Town one way and straight to the CUBS field the other way (Addison Stop)

The train is a good option and this is the closest stop. Buses are also an option. I recommend using Google Maps to route your path by choosing the "public transit" selection. It is accurate and considers traffic to configure fastest route.
