The oldest historical record of a building at the location of the current castle dates to 1391. The interior of the castle is decorated with richly ornamented woodcarving, reminiscent of the interior of a Roman Catholic church. The park contains many waterworks and a formal garden reminiscent of the French gardens of Versailles.

A fairytale castle and the cute village around it. It is nice to make a walk there or vist the castle. Every wednesday and last saturday of the month there is a fleamarket at Emmaus
