Staying here was an unforgettable experience. The farmhouse is cozy, spotless, and perfectly set against the backdrop of Humboldt’s famous redwoods and cannabis culture. Waking up to the sound of Freshwater Creek and sipping coffee on the private deck while looking out at the greenhouses was pure magic.
The hosts have clearly put a lot of care into the space -- everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The full kitchen made it easy to cook meals, and the wood stove added a rustic charm. The friendly dogs on the property were a bonus, and the atmosphere overall felt peaceful and welcoming.
The location is also spot-on: close to both Arcata and Eureka for food, coffee, and supplies, but tucked away enough to feel private and serene.
This is the perfect spot if you want to immerse yourself in the authentic Humboldt vibe, recharge in nature, and enjoy a stay that feels both special and laid-back. We can’t wait to come back!
