The trailhead is a short drive, and the 2 mile trail has some great manicured bridges and trails. It is a combination of gravel, boardwalks and woodland trails.

The main Monticello trail is gravel/decking, which makes it a pretty easy trail for all abilities. There are also a number of more difficult trails off of the main trail for those looking for more of a challenge. Get to the base of the trail early; the parking lot is small and fills up when the weather is nice.

Beautiful, wooded and partially paved trail for walking or biking. Connects to Carter's Mountain Orchard, Thomas Jefferson's Monticello and several other trails. Partially handicap accessible. Great scenery!

This is a nice walking trail. They have walkways built up, so it is handicapped accessible and stroller friendly. Nice little pond as well.
